You're the devil in disguise...

Got a new sketchbook yesterday and today I got to use it. I love a new sketchbook. This devil girl was done using Col-Erase pencils and some Staedtler fineliner pens for details. After scanning her I started playing with the background color in Photoshop. Though this devil girl is too "realistic" for what I want as an end product, I liked her enough to share.

Now thanks to the title of this post I have Elvis Presley singing in my head. :)

Gene,

A splendid way to start a new sketch book. But watch out, if you have Elvis in the head, he may find his way into the sketchbook!

By the way, approximately how many "old" sketchbooks have you accumulated? Just curious!

Thanks Gary. As to how many old sketchbooks I have, wow, I don't know. There are five old ones in my studio right now that I can see, I saw some in my flat files the other day, and I know there are boxes in the garage that have some as well. We bought this house two years ago and we still have boxes in the garage. :)

That's nothing! I moved stuff all the way across the state when I got married, lived their 12 years, moved halfway back across the state, lived their for 6 years, then moved again almost two years ago without ever unpacking a few of the original boxes... don't recommend it though as more boxes just tended to accumulate with the older ones. :)

Yeah Royce. I've still got boxes from my move from California in 1992 that still haven't been opened. Some might have been in my garage there and weren't even packed for the cross country move. Too much junk.
