The Black Queen - Finished

I said I was going to try doing this piece on black Canson Paper. Not a good idea. It looked terrible. I'm sure someone with more experience using black paper and color pencils could pull it off but not me. Live and learn. One day I might try again. Hate to have it defeat me. :)

So Jean Grey ended up on the color paper that she looks best on. I will be posting her on eBay tonight if anyone is interested.

Ahhhh another Redhead!!

Just talked to Kevin and he goes in for another SUPER MRI tomorrow in prep for Monday Surgery. He will be home for the weekend though and is really thankful for all the moral support that he has seen and also that which he has simply been told about. Will update more as I hear details.

Gene,

Not a diaster if you learned something from the experience. Really like the combination of the background color with the red headed Jean and green eyes. I could see this working for a Josie. Hmmmmm.

Royce- Please keep us posted on Kevin. Good luck to you and Budd on the auction front.

Thanks for the update, Royce. Ever since you mentioned Kevin's situation, he has been on my mind.

Thanks Gary. I think you are right, this would be a cool color for a Josie piece. Hmmmm. I have two Canson Cutie commissions to do and then, just maybe...
