Beta Ray Bill

I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever drawn this character. And he is a tough one. Before drawing him I had to read up on him. I do remember seeing Beta Ray Bill on covers but never read Thor so I had no idea what he was or how he connected to Thor. Not sure I understand yet but here is my take on the character. As tough as he was, it was still fun. :)

I really like the POWER your recent pieces have had. Another nice one!

I think Beta Ray Bill was a Walt Simonson creation, and the Thor 337 cover showing BRB smashing the logo is an all time favorite of mine. Think Simonson was thinking of a horse likeness. Thanks for sharing your version of Bill!

Gary

P.S. Any change of a B&W version of the Island Girl, Royce the crab and Tiki?

I think you captured the character very well Gene. Good stuff.

Thanks Craig! Looking forward to HeroesCon?

Gary - The cover you mention is iconic. I always thought the character looked like a skinned horse head myself. He seems to have "evolved" visually over the years. Probably won't do the trio in this medium. Those three are too colorful. :)

Thanks Little John!

Thanks Lisa!

Just an FYI, Beta Ray Bill is sold as of last night.
