Phantom Lady - commission process 2

Here is the composition for the commission. This is still a rough and will need refinement, but the basics are there. This was done using violet Col-Erase pencil in my sketchbook.

I hope everyone had a good weekend!

Gene,

This would make a fantastic cover for a one shot comic. The reaction of the male characters is great, and the dog adds a bit of humor to the situation (although a lemming may have been marginally better.....). Maybe you should pitch the idea of a Phantom Lady one shot to whoever owns the property.

Please continue to share the progress on this piece, I am envious of the commissioner!

Thanks Gary. Phantom Lady is owned by DC but I have no idea what they are doing with the character these days.

Ha Ha! I have never seen such a repentant crook! I agree with Gary, the dog is a nice touch, as is the Paddy Wagon. Please try to keep that element for the final piece. Nothing says Golden Age quite like a Paddy Wagon! Not sure how much you should change the composition, it looks great to me. But then your revisions always seem to work just a little bit better than I think are even possible. Your eye is certainly better than mine! Looking forward to the final piece.

Good news, guys. Kevin liked the comp just the way it is. No changes other than me refining the artwork. :)
Thanks for the comments!
