Poor fella can't get that bone with the helmet on. Can't even scoop it up like a surgury collar would allow... bummer!

That bulldog keeps showing up. I do like the cat, haven't seen you do one of those!

Brian, I am sure you are happy with the outcome of the Steelers game!

Very happy! Although I wish Philly had won so it could have been the battle for PA!

We seem to have forgotten that the first living creature to go into space was "Lyka", the Russian dog

Thanks Brian!

Funny you mention the surgery collar, our bulldog, Gidget, had to wear one for a few days after a minor sore on her foot was cared for, and she learned the scoop trick. But not well enough. Seems most of the time the treat went all the way back and got caught at her neck. :)

Thanks Gary. I thought I did a Streaky sometime last year. But I could be wrong. Just reminded myself of a sketch I did at the Pittsburgh Comic Cons Quick Sketch years ago ... Ace the Bathound and Krypto the Superdog taking the Batmobile to cruise for the ladies. :)

Can't forget "Laika" Michael. Poor pooch was just a stray on the streets of Moscow when she was scooped up to be the first dog in space. She had a hard life and a rough death. I think I remember reading they built a monument to her last year. Though there have been a few before. Thanks for posting.

Gene,

Ah yes, your are correct, there was a Streaky posted a while back. For some reason, I was perceiving the cat in this sketch to be more along the lines of Sebastian the Cat in Josie and the Pussycats Outer Space cartoone. At any rate, one cool cat and bulldog. You could have added a space lemming though :-)

Again with the lemmings, Gary? Hmmmmm. ;)
