Today's subject is Princess Odyri from
Perils On Planet X. I'm playing with the new paints again but on a different surface. The same paints can be completely different depending on the surface. This time I used a 12" x 18" sheet of Strathmore 400 Series 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper. I will be adding some kind of background to this image, where it be a graphic element or a scene. Next I will try the paints on a piece of illustration board that I will use for the Phantom Lady commission.
Convention News: I was late to register for MegaCon. But I am on a waiting list for space. Hopefully I will know something soon and I will post it here. Also, I just got my registration info for the Pittsburgh Con. It has been moved to September and I am planning on attending. I am still on for HeroesCon in June as well.

Really like the look the paints take on with the watercolor paper.....Of course it also could be because she's smoking hot! Nice one!
Glad to hear your comining to Pittsburgh in Sept...with the show moved back I'm debating on hitting another show, Sept is a long way off.
Brian is right...she IS smoking!!
I like the texture of the paper and the way the paints look on it. There is a substantive quality to it that makes it really stand out and pop off the page!
Good news about the convention schedule. We all missed seeing you last year in person. Hope this doesn't mean that your conventionless sketches won't show up this year! :)
The painting approach is taking your artwork to greater heights! Plus, it makes me want to get my hands on PoPX! Thanks again for sharing!
Glad that you confirmed for Pittsburgh. Depending on how my Fall travel schedule goes, I hope to get to see you. The last time was in Pittsburgh in 2007....
