Perils on Planet X art

My workload has been pretty horrific lately. PERILS ON PLANET X has suffered because of my work load. Matter of fact I have been working on one project up until a few minutes ago. Luckily I have laid out the remaining pages in thumbnails. So for the last 5 hours of doing revisions, getting feedback, and doing revisions again via email, I pulled out the POPX page I am working on and penciled the above panel. I just might have to do this more often. And if I draw while eating meals...

Gene,

Hey, I appreciate your hard work and efforts on all aspects of your artwork!

Concerning the POPX panel, do you always put the word ballons in to save space for the lettering?

Keep up the hard work, but don't burn out!

Gary

How large is this panel? The amount of detail in the face looks great. Really looking forward to seeing this project.

You are a dynamo Gene. Does the family ever complain with your constant working?

Cripes. That writer is a verbose S.O.B., isn't he?

Gary - Thanks. I just started "lettering" the panels recently. I had to when working on a Jim Shooter script. I wasn't leaving enough room. That has spilled over into my other projects.

Royce - The panel is only 4" x 3.5". Not that big. My family is VERY understanding. They know I work when I have to. Feast or famine, man. Right now I am getting caught up for a "vacation". Friends coming down to visit next week. I will still be working but not nearly as much.

Chris - Naw, the writer writes what is needed. It's the damn artist that draws everything too damn big. And I would appreciate you not calling my partner names like that. ;)

Thanks again for the comments, guys!
