MegaCon Sketches - Day Two

Two more from MegaCon today. First up, a sultry Mantra...
and then a playful Kitty Pride with everyone's favorite dragon, Lockheed. Another fun day at the show. This show has more attendees in costumes than any show I have been to. Most being anime or game related. The detail and time they have put into what they wear is amazing. Well, time for some rest, gotta an early start tomorrow with Day 3 and more sketches.

I especially love the Kitty Pryde sketch. Very playful indeed. MegaCon sounds like a lot of fun. Hope you are having a great time and that your sketch list is full of interesting ideas. Safe trip back home.

Thanks Royce. It has been fun. And I have been coming home each night. It's only a little over an hour between Orlando and home. :)

Gene,

Both pieces are great, however, the Kitty and Lockheed art is really appealling! The recepient better be happy!

Given that the con is close to home, do you ever bring family members to the con to keep you company? Maybe your daughter?

At any rate, enjoy the rest of the con!

Gary - My family used to do Pittsburgh and HeroesCon every year with me. Then when Dakota started school we did want to pull her out for a day for going to Pittsburgh. But they continued to come to Heroes until we moved to Florida. No one is interested in the 8-9 hour drive to the show so I do it alone now. Dakota did the HeroesCon show from the womb (She didn't get her own badge that year) to until she was 10. :) Deena, my wife, has even be known to do portfolio reviews when I'm away from the table.

And the woman who got the Kitty piece was VERY happy. :)
