Elektra - In Progress

This is another for fun piece I squeezed in today. It's not done but I thought I would post the progress. I ended up doing Elektra on red Canson paper at the suggestion of John Beatty. I posted the question of what I should do next on Twitter and there were a lot of good suggestions from people on Twitter and on Facebook (where my Tweets are pushed). I will have the final art done tomorrow morning. But for now, it's time for some tea and crashing on the couch to watch the Rays game.

There are always some little things that change as I work on a piece. You can see all the changes I was trying in the initial sketch.

What hotel are you staying at? I have two different locations booked right now. Need to decide which one to keep. :)

Always a pleasure to see the "in progress" posts Gene. This one is no exception. Nice work and the red paper was a great choice obviously.

Thanks Royce. I'm actually working on the piece right now. Seems I can have a head cold and insomnia at the same time. Joy. :)

I really wouldn't call Elektra a cutie, more like a Canson Cutthroat.

She'll flat out cut ya.
