Atom Eve - Finished

Amazing what you can accomplish if you just skip sleeping altogether. Insomnia strikes again!

I couldn't sleep at all last night, (Isn't that a song?) so I finished this piece and worked on a couple of commissions as well. I had been wanting to do my version of a Canson Cutie Atom Eve for a while now but didn't have the right paper. Well I got the paper on saturday and her she is now.

She is done in ink and color pencils on 11"x 17" Canson Mi-Teintes Paper.

Update:
Eve has been put on eBay tonight for those that might be interested. Here is the link: Atom Eve

Your artwork talents don't suffer from lack of sleep! This was the right Canson color for this character. I really like the art nouveau type background motif. This should be snatched up quickly on ebay!

Yeah, I think this will go pretty quick too. Sorry to hear about your insomnia bouts Gene. From experience, I know how frustrating they can be. Luckily you work from home which in some ways "mute" the adverse effects a bit. I mean, thank goodness you aren't driving a gasoline delivery truck or rigging explosive demolotions on little sleep! But then again, your art is Dy-No-Mite!!

Thanks Lan!

Gary - Thanks, it's interesting that I can be more productive through the night. I guess there are no distractions. I put on some music or podcasts and just work. No sunshine calling me out to play. :)

Royce - Thanks, insomnia can be good for a freelance artist and you have to pull all nighters but can be a pain when you don't have to stay up. I am lucky in that if I get tired during the day, I can just take a nap. But if I so much as take a hour nap, I will get a second wind around 10pm tonight and we start all over. :)
