Last Minute Shopping

Yup, last minute shopping is what we did today. I love Christmas shopping in 79° weather. Sun is shining, warm breeze, wearing shorts and a shirt. It's Christmas time in the city, baby! This quick sketch was done with Prismacolor Verithin pencils on 9" x 12" Canson Cà grain drawing paper. My local art store gave me a pad as a gift today. He said I would really like the texture of the paper. It's a French made medium tooth paper. And he was right!

Hi Gene,

I am envious of your shopping weather! We had icy roads this morning, and wind and rain throughout the shopping day!

Nevertheless, I am glad that you like your free gift and love the last minute shopper sketch!

Have a great Christmas!

And by the way, you are down to single digits for the number of days in 2008 that it will take to meet your posting goal!

Robin/Harley Chick

Have I forgotten anyone?

We have a balmy 66 degrees here in NC today! No shorts, but it made those last minute errands almost fun!

Merry Christmas to All!!!
