Neat, Sweet, Super Cool, Don't You Know These Kitties Rule!

This commission is for Gary. I think his fan ranking for Josie and the Pussycats is higher than mine. But I do my best. While working on this piece I had the Josie and the Pussycats movie playing on my computer. As it is one of my favorite movies, it really made working on this piece extra fun. Thanks again Gary!

This was done with ink, color pencil, and a touch of acrylic paint on yellow-orange Canson paper

Gary, I am officially JEALOUS!!

This piece is really stunning. Congrats!! I too loved the show, but I concede the title to you!!
I do think I would like to see a new animated Pussycat series however, especially if Gene worked on it!!

Heck, even if he didn't! It just wouldn't be quite as good if he weren't involved. But we would make do I suppose. Oh yes, we would make do.... ;)

"So much work to do. So many decisions to make: Should Josie be pin-up sexy or Rock & Roll tough? This is my burden."

Dude, life can be so cruel sometimes!

Gorgeous Josie, Gene! Gary is one lucky guy!

Outstanding piece, exceeding my expectations! And hey, you even made Royce jealous (must be the red hair. The pose, coloring and Canson color all work together very well. And of course, the signature motif is over the top!

Thanks for accepting this commission, can't wait to get it!
