Sketchbook Tuesday!

Some sketchbook offerings for today. First up is a Silver Surfer sketch I did with a blue Col-Erase pencil in my sketchbook yesterday and added some color and effects in Photoshop today. We have been spending a lot of time at a beach condo our friends rented for the week so there has been some beachy inspiration.
Next up is a page from this morning. Just sitting on the balcony watching people on the beach inspired these sketches. This page was drawn with markers and pencils.

Gene,

Glad you are still having fun at the beach! I am back in my cube here in good old Corporate America :-(!

I like the return of Royce the crab in your sketch:-)

Cool idea of incorporating your beach inspiration with super-heroes. Silver Surfer is a nostalgic favorite, but haven't kept up with the character over the years sadly. Cool sketch though!

Sorry to hear that Gary. It had been too long since Royce the Crab has joined us. That's why he was in such a "crabby" mood. :)

Thanks Royce. I know next to nothing about the Silver Surfer, but he is always a cool visual to draw. :)
