Hourman & the Pussycats!

As strange a team up as you can get. First up another Golden Ager for Leroy. Thanks Leroy for the commission.
And a little sketch I did in my sketchbook that I will be expanding to a full inked illustration. Just doing this one for fun.
Hourman is done in ink on 11"x 17" Canson Bristol Board. And Josie and the Pussycats is done in blue ColErase pencil in my sketchbook.

That Pussycats piece is going to turn out awesome.

The Pussycat piece already looks like a big time winner! Are you trying to tempt me Gene?

I do love the expression on the Hourman's face, great inked piece!

Both are great. The poses on all three pussycats are spot on perfect!!

Thanks Lan!

Thanks Gary! I sometimes avoid doing too many things that I know people like. Don't want anyone to feel like I am trying to get their money, as it were. But this idea came to me and I had to flesh it out. :)

Thanks Royce!

Gene,

Hey, nothing wrong in my mind with posting things that I like! I do like the "looking down" shot and the figures are very dynamic, especially the leaping Pussycat!

Thanks Gary. Now you can look forward to a boatload of Josie pieces, and Royce can look forward to a truck load of Supergirl hot pants pieces. And then you both can look forward to a pin-up army of Redheads. :)

Gene,

...and if you did a Josie meets Supergirl and they are both wearing hot pants, well, Royce and I would just be all beside ourselves!

NO lemmings in hot pants though....

Josie and Supergirl in hot pants. Hmmmmmmm. But we need lemmings, don't you think? ;)

Weird coincidence, Gene! The Pussycats piece looks exactly like half of a Common Elements commission I've had floating around in my head for quite some time.

Alas, I can't divulge what the other half looks like... or else I'd have to commission you to draw it! ;)

Great minds and all that, Michael. :) Now really, would it hurt to just tell me? No one is listening. ;)

If you'll promise me that I won't see it in somebody else's collection, Gene, I'll tell you offline.

Uh oh, that sounds like too much responsibility. My luck is someone would see my Josie piece and come up with your idea, take it to someone else and boom, I'm in trouble! I'll just wait to see someone do it for you. That's safer. :)
