Supergirl & the Super Pets - Finished

Here she is finished, Supergirl and the Super Pets riding a comet. This was done with ink and brush (a touch of Microns) on 11" x 17" Strathmore Bristol Board.

Regarding the Conventionless Convention Sketches, I have had more than a few people ask about this so: Anyone who wants to deal directly with me, bypassing eBay completely, is more than welcome to. Some people prefer to use eBay and that is fine with me as well. Thanks!

Wow! That turned out quite nicely! I see why you kept mostly with the brush, getting a great lighting effect. It would be very cool to see this in color!

Thanks LUD! Brushes are always my favorite tools to use. When they are behaving. Quality brushes are still hard to come by. I will be coloring this in the near future for conventions.

Gene,

Early post for you today, that is a good thing!

Very good Supergirl with Super Pets. I don't know why, but brush inking has a more pleasant visual effect!

I agree with Gary, the brush is hard to beat, especially on this piece. The illusion of motion is well done! Man, that looks like a load of fun, frolicking through space with your faithful dog at your side! I guess the cat is welcome too. ;)

Thanks Gary. I think the brush gives a more organic feel. That could be what you are getting from the effect. That's what it does for me anyhow.

Yeah Royce, you and I are on the same page as to how fun things can be. Silly as the stories are, I really enjoy reading the Krypto solo stories and the Supergirl stories. For Krypto, the universe was his backyard to play in. Fun stuff still.
