Redline - The Sequel!

Thanks to Jonathan for a chance to visit again with his creation, Redline! The workout out bag gag was conceived by him as well. I don't think I want to hold the bag for her when she is working out, that's for sure. Thanks again to Jonathan for the fun commissions and the chance to do my take on his character. Good luck with the web comic too. Let us know when it is up! This is ink on 11" x 17" Canson Bristol Board.

Tomorrow: Princess "I'd rather kiss a Wookie!" Leia.

Gene,

Yet another great Redline piece! Hopefully, Jonathan will let us know more about the web comic so that we can check it out.

Hey, doesn't Princess Leia sing a version of that catch pop song, something to the tune "I kissed a Wookie and I liked it"??? Maybe not.

Thanks Gary!

Not sure if Redline has a secret identity or not, but by the looks of this piece, I would guess that her name might be "Sandy." Good luck to Jonathan on the webcomic!!

Gene,

WOW! This is a simply amazing piece -- it delivers everything I was looking for when I emailed you with the concept...and more! Thanks so much for doing such a phenomenal job of realizing my wacky ideas.

Gary & Royce,

Thanks very much to both of you for your interest and good wishes. It figures that a great guy like Gene has equally great fans. I am in the VERY early stages of developing the Redline webcomic (I'm plotting/scripting her origin story at the moment), but I will be sure to let you guys know when we go live.

In the meantime, I don't plan to be a stranger -- not as long as our host keeps posting fantastic stuff like this on a daily basis!

Royce - You never disappoint with the puns! Thanks! :)

Jonathan - I'm glad you like it. It's a fun character that I hope to learn more about as you develop the strip. And welcome aboard here! You're right, there are some great folks here and I will strive to make your time worth dropping by.
