Beachy-Keen!

This one was just a sketch a few days back and now she is a fully realized pin-up. WooHoo! The background turned out to be a fun process. I really wanted to keep it flat. The items on her towel got a little dimension to them but not much. And they are not on the same plane as the girl or the towel so it still has a flat feel to it. And then there is the girl. I kept her colors flat too. All in all a fun piece. And it is on it's way to CILM. This one was inked on 11" x 17" bristol board and colored in Photoshop.

Gene,

This is just fantastic, nice job! This would make a really great poster!

Are we going to see a few more of these in the next several weeks as part of the CILM work?

Gene,

Make an appointment with an eye doctor. That girl is NOT flat!

Seriously, nice work!

Thanks guys. I did do a version of this with 'CLEARWATER BEACH" across the top because I too thought it had poster potential. My CILM pack is only 6 these days (I forgot) and this piece was number 7. So I now have a jump on the next batch.

Royce - Eye doctor appointment is on the 30th, thanks. :)

Gary - Trashy novels are a must my wife would say. Personally I just call it girl porn, but hey, what do I know. ;)
