Today we have a commission for Carlos. He wanted something like the Magik piece I did earlier this month. So the trick is to come up with something similar but unique. And here she is. This was done in mixed media on 11" x 17" Canson Mi-Teintes paper. Thanks again for the commission Carlos!

Your rendition of Illyana is breathtaking! I can't wait to see her in person!!! :D
Still raining here in Port Orange as well. It's slowed enough that I don't think that we'll have to open the shelter. [No joke.]
Great sketch. Love the colors!
Thanks Carlos!
Thanks Craig. Looks like Daytona has been hit pretty hard. Saw more pictures on the news and we are no where as bad off. Just wet.
Beautiful!
This is an excellent piece...in fact all the Magik renditions have been terrific! Don't know how many other artists use this brand of paper for sketches. commissions, but they should definitely look into it...post haste!!
Yeah, I don't think we'll be hitting the beach anytime the week-end either! Oh well more time to go see Star Trek tomorrow...
I'm loving all this Magik! Although now I have that song stuck in my head ;)
Fantastic piece and the yellow really makes it pop. Love this...
Thanks Darren!
Thanks Royce! But if everybody starts doing the Canson Cuties, I will have to come up with something else. ;)
Thanks Karen! My brain gets hooked on songs too. This one has been bouncing in my head since yesterday morning. Oy!
Thanks Brian!
The Yellow Canson paper really works well for this character!
Don't let the rain get your down, more nice days to come at the beach this summer!
Gary
Thanks Gary! No worries about the rain. Deena is heading for the beach right now, before the afternoon rain hits. :)
Every little thing you do is Magick, Magick, Maaaa-gick!
