A little Zatanna sketch today from my sketchbook. I used to own the original art for a complete Zatanna backup story from Adventure Comics with art by Dick Giordano. I parted with it a few years back and I still regret it. The pages were beautiful as you can imagine. Ah well. Here she is in a slight variation of her original costume. Pencil in the sketchbook. About 35 minutes. Happy Friday everyone!

Mmmmm..Fishnets!!
As a matter of fact, I just got back from a seafood restaurant a little while ago where I had dinner. The fishnet they had hanging as a decoration pales in comparison with this one though!

I love the "lighting" effect that you achieved by not using a solid line to define the right part of Zatanna's body. Very interesting and unique approach! Maybe we can see more of this! Great job!
