Another day in paradise

This is the second of three paintings I am doing for a real estate developer doing some work in the Bahamas. This is a view from the top of the property. This doesn't exist yet in the real world and I haven't been there so I have to guess what it will look like when finished. There will be close to 70 lots for sale so it is a fairly large area. And because of the slope of the hillside, every home will have a view of the water which is about a 1/2 mile away. So this must be how the other half lives.

Gene,

Very beautiful, the red is striking. Hey, who knows, one day you may be the "other half" that gets to live on the resort!

Thanks Gary. Those trees are Royal Poincianas. When they bloom it is just an incredible display of color. Not too many where I am, actually only one or two that I know of but they are more plentiful on the islands. Maybe one day we will both know how the other half lives. :)
