Wonder Woman

I really liked Darwyn Cooke's designs for Wonder Woman in THE NEW FRONTIER. And I love the fact that she was taller than Superman. Great stuff! This is WW in her war outfit from the book but done in my style. This is done with a 2B pencil on 11" x 17" Canson bristol board. Happy Friday everyone!

I have not seen the Cooke WW work, but I am amazed at your piece with a 2B pencil!

Extra nice! Darwyn would agree I think.

Brian - I should do the others shouldn't I? Thanks.

Gary - You really should check out DC: New Frontier. BTW, it was a magic 2B pencil. (Should have pointed that out I suppose) :) Thanks!

Thanks Royce!

My buddy Tyler Bishop colored the Wonder Woman piece for fun. Check it out here:http://tylerbishop.net/sketchbook/archives/188. Tyler is a commercial artist/graphic designer. He also did a handful of comics back in the mid 90s. Currently he is working/developing a web comic about the Scopes Trial of 1925 Tennessee.
