Sketchbook Thursday

Artwork © 2011 Gene Gonzales

When I travel to conventions I have a whole list of dos and do nots to avoid getting the PostCon Crud. With MegaCon being a "local" show, I think I may have slipped up a bit. For the first time in a number of years I have the PostCon Crud. No fun. I've been fighting it most of the week but it is winning. So I give you a sketchbook day with a doodle I did earlier when I had the energy. Not much energy now that I look at the piece, but you got to take the good with the bad I suppose. :)

This is Post #1272

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Your first mistake was not getting a table by Beatty because Beatty and I scare the crud away.

Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Craig. But I remember Beatty was sick at the show.

Never had the PostCon Crud, just the PostCon HEART ATTACK 36 hours after HeroesCon last year. That also was "no fun." :)

Be careful out there my friends. Cons can be quite unhealthy!

Blame it on the Granito Proximity Syndrome.

That was a toothache, Gene...I don't think you could have got that crud...not even the Dentist wants to get back there! ;)

Royce - we are grateful you made it through the post con heart attack. I will stop whining about the Crud now. :)

Patman - He who should not be named is a verb now. :)

John - Ah, I didnt know what ailed you, and was afraid of details if I asked. ;)

Thanks Gene, I was only kidding. You are certainly entitled to complain if you feel poorly. lol Just sharing my experiences with post-con ailments. Being around school children daily has gotten me pretty much immune to the common crud, except during flu season.

Hope you are feeling better too Mr. Beatty! Keep smiling! :)

Also, looks like one more year before I will make it to a Pitt Con. Darn it!! Will have to wait on Heroes before I can get you started on those Legionnaires Gene.
