Marvel Girl - Conventionless Convention Sketch #7

Marvel Girl © Marvel Entertainment

Here is second of four for James, Marvel Girl! Another favorite version of Jean Grey that I like to draw. Once again, thanks to James for this commission!

I am up extra early today because I wanted to finish this piece before I buried myself in some other work. One project has been given final approval and I need to put it to bed. Still more to do on that job but this particular section is done. Then I need to do final revisions to some art for one of the grammar book series I am working on. This will be the second one in two weeks that will be finally finished. Four more to go in this series. And I will be continuing to work on the art for a job for the US Department of Health and Human Services. The first half needs to be done by next week on Tuesday.

Thankfully, I have the Conventionless Convention Sketches for fun! :)

Have a good Monday!

This piece was done in ink on an 11" x 17" sheet of bristol board.

This is Post #1300

Marvel-ous! I like James' picks so far. Waiting with bated breath for the next two! Place yer bets folks! Who is next on Jame's X-List?

Storm? Kitty Pryde? Another of the many versions of Jean?

Gene, are you working on any regular books right now? My Facebook friends and I agreed that you should be penciling Teen Titans or X-Men First Class. Something-! We all want to see you on a monthly-!!!!
