HeroesCon 2010 - Day Two

Three more pieces to share from HeroesCon 2010!

First up for Rick is a Bomb Queen done in mixed media on a sheet of 11" x 17" Red Canson Paper.

Next up is Catman for Erica! This was also done in mixed media on Canson Paper.

And finally we have Dejah Thoris for Rob's sketchbook!
Thanks to Rick, Erica and Rob for the commissions. More tomorrow folks. I have a feeling this could go extra innings!

This is Post #775

I LOVE my Catman, Gene!

From the Acacia tree cutting into sun (that's crazy sick!), to the personality you infused in the lionesses (I really dig that one with a growl on her face - she looks like she's no joke!), I'm just really happy and think this is one of your best pieces!

It was wonderful to talk to you again this year. Each year I talk to you a little more then the last. I'm getting over my shyness, eventually we'll be hanging out, chatting over drinks!

Thanks for a wonderful con! I hope to see you many more times! Please be safe getting home.

Yeah that canson Catman is one of you best, love that sun backdrop feels like we are on the plains of Africa! Hope your having a blast and cant wait to see day what day 3 brings!
Drinks with Gene sounds like fun just be careful not to say the trigger word ;)

The Catman really grabs me, too! It is a great piece and a character who does not get a lot of attention. Fantastic! All of these rock, Gene! Very cool!

Thanks Lisa!

I'm glad you like it Erica! I was great to see you again and make sure you hang out longer. There are some fun conversations that take place around my table at a show. And if you see me in the lounge, say "hi". Though water seems to be my drink of choice at a con. Hard to sketch when I am suffering the morning after the night before. ;)

Thanks Gary! The circle is from a template. Makes it easier for consistency. :) Though I may go back to the box.

Thanks Brian. No trigger word was said. The only one there that would know it was Anthony, and he knew better. ;)

Royce - You missed a lot of people. Know I know why they think you don't exist. :)

Thanks Shane!
