MODESTY BLAISE - HeroesCon Sketch

This is one that was done at the show for Alan. He had seen a few Modesty pieces on the web that I had drawn and he felt I must be a fan because I captured her look so well. As it turns out, I am a fan! Thanks Alan, it was nice meeting you.

Ink in a sketchbook.

Reminds me of Emma Peel, and that is not a bad thing!

That is sweet Gene, now I know what I will commission you to do for my Modesty Blaise facebook page. As soon as I can afford it.

Thanks Spazzy!

Gary, I can see that. I believe Modesty predates Emma. If you haven't read Modesty Blaise, I do recommend it.

Thanks Dale! I am a new-ish fan of Modesty but a big fan, nonetheless. :)

Big big fan, especially during the period Jim Holdaway did the art.

While Romero's is probably Modesty in everyone's eye, I usually lean to the original artist.
