HeroesCon 2015 - Part 3

I do believe this is the first time I have drawn Rachel in this incarnation. I believe she hunted other mutants in this get up. Very cool to draw. And one of those interesting tidbits about drawing a character in all black, a lot of people tend to think that it is easier. Actually it is just as much work, if not more sometimes, because the artist has to be careful to make sure the silhouette reads clearly. This one is for Shane.

I was given the choice of several characters to depict as a school girl. Of course my mind went "sexy" school girl and Rogue was the stand out of the group of choices. I mean, she was at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters right? Right? :)

Thanks to Bill for another request for a character I have never drawn before. I was a DC guy and never read Marvel. When I finally tried some Marvel Comics, Sunfire was in the first X-Men book I picked up. I don't remember the issue but he was attacking Jean Grey in an apartment building. I think.  I haven't seen that issue in years. But I thought he was pretty cool looking. Thanks Bill!
