Sketchbook Tuesday

Power Girl © DC Comics

Busy day today. But I managed to doodle some Power Girl poses. Just trying some ideas out for a Power Girl commission I will be working on very soon.

In the last couple of days I manage to make some convention plans too. Booked the hotel for HeroesCon in June and confirmed being a guest at MegaCon in March. Five months away for one and eight months away for the other. Whew!

I am planning on doing another sketchbook for 2011. I have plenty of material that's for sure. But I need some feedback from anyone who purchased any of my sketchbooks. Or even if you have an opinion about any sketchbooks. Do you like them in black and white or in color? Small digest size, comic book size or magazine size? I'm interested in your opinions. If you don't want to post it here, send me an email with "Sketchbook" in the subject line. Thanks!

A day of glee and jubilation! I am happy that you are doing another sketchbook! I like them magazine size (I think this is the size that your first sketchbooks are in). I like the colored versions, especially with the colored pencil work. I am ready to pre-order now!

Make sure we have PG in the next sketchbook too!

I agree with Gary on all points. I loved your previous sketchbook so I guess more of the same would be good.

Thanks Lisa! :)

Thanks Gary! I'm kicking around a few ideas right now for the sketchbook. One main problem is finding a printed that can do the color, perfect bound jobs. In an affordable price range. :)

Thanks Little John!

Thanks Brian! I looked at Pittsburgh ComiCon's site and there isn't any updates yet. Seems like they have something up by this time of the year. I will keep watch. I know that I have a table, I do reserve that at the end of each show.

I would be interested in a sketchbook. My first choice would be magazine size in color. I wish it would be something like the sketchbooks brand studio press comes out with. I can dream right :) either way you have an order from me! have you had a chance to visit the west coast, gene? Probably before I had a clue :p
