Sketchbook Monday

Artwork © Gene Gonzales

Full morning of drawing illustrations for another grammar book, then a full afternoon of sitting in waiting rooms doodling in my sketchbook. Then back to the studio for scanning and sending the artwork. Too tired to do anything else now so I must subject you to some of the doodles.

This is Post #1116

Sitting around in waiting rooms? Hopefully all is well?

I always welcome sketchbook days! Especially sketches of crazy wild haired women!

The figure in the top middle is extremely striking, Gene. It's kind of different than your normal style. Is it Phoenix?

1) Always like seeing "rough stuff."
2) Hope your "waiting"wasn't due to "Rough Stuff."

I do tend to draw crazy wild haired women. I wonder what that says about me, Gary. :)

"I do doodles, you do doodles too" Willow Rosenberg to Buffy Summers. :)

Carlos, it wasn't meant to be anyone in particular. In regards to the style, sometimes I like to just simplify the shapes. Go more graphic. Not that way, you know what I mean. :)

No rough stuff Royce. I can't do the rough stuff like you can. :)

Good thing Gene. Rough Stuff can get expensive!
